Gilian Schrofer ontwierp een tweezitter waarbij de gebruikers elkaar kunnen aankijken, leunend op een stang, zachtjes draaiend rond één punt. Een prima uitgangspositie voor een ontspannen gesprek dat uren kan duren daar zowel de krukjes als de stang precies op de juiste afstand van elkaar staan. Een speelse stoel waaraan de inspiratiebronnen van Gilian Schrofer, o.a. de bewondering voor het straatmeubilair van Aldo van Eyck, de Yin-Yang, balans in vorm en functionaliteit zijn af te lezen.

Gilian Schrofer designed a a chair where two can sit and look at each other while softly turning around a point, leaning on a tubular steel bar. It is the perfect point of departure for a relaxed conversation that can last for hours because the stools and bar are at exactly the right distance from each other. It is a playful chair that reflects Gilian Schrofer’s sources of inspiration, such as Aldo van Eyck’s street furniture that are a Yin-Yang balance of form and functionality.
